Cultivation of Microorganisms 

This experiment is based on the book Prácticas de Microbiología básica en el laboratorio de Educación Secundaria, pages 17-25, which test the microbiology of hand washing.

Reflexions on the medium

In a first trial, we used unflavored gelatin, due to the lack of agar-agar. Even though the gelatine achieved the same solidity than the agar-agar medium, which we later elaborated, it would always become liquid after the third day.

We haven't found any explanation for this phenomenon.
